You’ve just created a new product and you’re getting a handful of people to review it for you, so you can make it even better. Or you’ve just performed a service for a client and you want feedback so you can do even better next time.
What should you ask?
“On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the quality of this (book, service, etc.)?”
If they answer with anything other than a “10,” follow up with this question:
“What would it take to make it a 10?”
It’s that simple.
These two questions will get you better feedback than most 20 question surveys. And you can do it anywhere – over the phone, through email, using a survey service, etc.
